Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ from whom all blessings flow. As I write this letter, I am preparing last minute things for my return trip to the Philippines. So many wonderful things are happening in the missionary work that it is impossible to share all of them with you as it would take volumes of letters. The churches are growing, baptizing new converts daily, with new churches springing up across the country. We are working hard to establish these groups in the Word of God for the hour. The missionaries on the field are going night and day spreading the Gospel to the lost. I would like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and continued support of the ministry. It is because of your faithfulness that we are able to do these things. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel to the Philippines and those who are traveling to South Africa and Malawi. God bless and keep you in the center of His perfect will. Below is a couple of pictures and a testimony I thought you would like.
Bro. Daniel Martin
Missionary / Pastor
Remarkable Missions in the AFP Medical Center
God bless, my name is PFC Ernest Dacanay, a member of the Philippine Army, and my wife, Mrs. Erma Dacanay. We are just newly married for two weeks and I was very happy each time I was visited by the elements of the Search and Rescue – Worldwide Missionary Outreach, by Bro. Alex Zanoni and Bro. Benny Conte.
I was assigned in the 1st Infantry Battalion, 2nd Division of the Philippine Army as a rifleman / grenadier of the company. Last year, Oct. 2007, we encountered heavily armed groups known as the New People’s Army in the province of Laguna, and I was hit in the left leg by a sniper which caused me to fall down. There were bullets in high volume coming from every direction.
But with this, I thank the Lord God almighty our Lord Jesus Christ for giving me a chance to live. At first I was very angry and almost cried sometimes. I asked the Lord why this had to happen to me.
Then one day I was invited to go to church by the Worldwide Missionary Outreach team. I went and heard testimonies from a former marine soldier Master Sergeant Zanoni who was now a Christian. We heard lots of encouragement how God has done many great things in his life.
I believe now that God can restore anything. I believe in His word and even though in my situation I am not fit to walk, I believe God can heal me. I am requesting for the WMO brothers and sisters to pray for me and my wife who has a cyst in her back.
I am now one year in the AFP medical Center and have been really blessed by the preaching that I have heard by Bro. Benny Conte, and also the presence of the Search and Rescue brothers and sisters. We thank God very much that Christian people like you have passion on us. Thank you. My sincere salute to all of you at Worldwide Missionary Outreach.
UPDATE: This couple decided to be baptized after our joint fellowship on November 16th. We praise the Lord for these results from our efforts!
